Important announcement

We’d like to share an important update regarding the dates for this year’s Dorset Seafood Festival. Due to significant repair works on the sea wall at the Peninsula we are unable to host the event in 2025. The festival’s tide is out, but never fear, it will be coming back in for September 2026!

These essential works, as confirmed by Dorset Council, are vital for ensuring the long-term safety of the area and our festival site. Given the scale and unique nature of the festival, coupled with its close connection to the sea, relocating is simply not a viable option for us. Whilst we are frustrated that we have to to take this “tide-out” break, we will be sharing lots of exciting news very soon, including our plans for 2026. We have been having fantastic discussions with key stakeholders and can’t wait to tell you all about it.

Thank you for your ongoing support and understanding. We can’t wait to welcome you back in 2026 for what promises to be our best festival yet. We will confirm the 2026 weekend dates as soon as possible.
